In Japan haben die Reinigungsarbeiten in der 20-Kilometer-Sperrzone rund um das zerstörte Atomkraftwerk Fukushima begonnen. Rund 900 japanische Soldaten sind eingeteilt, zunächst öffentliche Gebäude zu dekontaminieren. Dort sollen später Stützpunkte eingerichtet werden für groß angelegte Reinigungsarbeiten. [mehr]
